Support Youth in Child Welfare and Human Trafficking
Village Is Possible is seeking funding to cover the upfront costs of our services. While we are grateful for the grants we have received, immediate funds are needed to initiate our vital programs and support youth impacted by the child welfare system and human trafficking. Your contribution of any size can help us bridge this gap and start making a difference right away.
Dear Community,
In 2024, it’s time to acknowledge the centuries of degradation America has shown towards Black bodies. As Village Is Possible, we seek to cultivate spaces of healing from the impact of racial and genderized conditions that make this world unsafe for Black girls, womxn, and femme bodies. Today, Black girls are disproportionately kidnapped and targeted for commercial sexual exploitation (CSE), which entails the rendering of sexual acts in exchange for something of “value” where there is a third party benefiting from the exchange. While this experience is staggering for the hearts, minds, and bodies of those exploited and the family lines connected to this invasive and oftentimes intergenerational trauma, there are community driven advocates dedicated to healing and restoring the light of youth and families impacted by CSE. Lead by the mantra “Our Wounds are Wisdom”, Village Is Possible is contributing to the movement to wrap inner, interpersonal and institutional village around CSEC through reconnecting them with their core selves, their family, and the land.
Today, we are excited to launch a special fundraising campaign that aims to raise $40,000 to provide holistic services and a Living Wage one Survivor Leader at a time. We are spotlighting Youth Leader Lauren for this award.

By coming together as a village, we can achieve remarkable results. Your support will directly impact the lives of our Survivor Leaders and, in turn, the entire community.
